聽著這首歌的自己，不自禁地想起與情人在電影散場後，也許滿街亂走，也許騎著車繞著城。

Casablanca (卡薩布蘭加)是好萊塢的經典文藝片「北非諜影」的英文片名，也是非洲國家摩洛哥位於西部的一個港埠，也就是這部電影故事發生的所在地。

歌詞裡出現多次的"as time goes by"正是該片著名的主題曲，而"a kiss is not a kiss"也是引用這首主題曲中的一句歌詞。

歌詞中提到的汽車電影院(drive-in show)盛行於美國較偏僻的城鎮。

片商會在當地選定一個空曠的地點，架起大銀幕，放映大都市已下片多時的電影。

開車前來的觀眾把車停在廣場上，就坐在汽車裡喝飲料、吃爆米花觀賞電影。廣場上不架設喇叭，片商會將聲音用無線電傳送出去，同時告知觀眾將收音機轉到某一頻率，即可同步聽到電影中的對白、音效等，是一種滿特殊的電影文化。
